DESCRIPTION:National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories\, cultures\, and achievements\, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. \nThe dates for NRW remain the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey— the successful 1967 referendum\, and the High Court Mabo decision respectively. \nReconciliation must live in the hearts\, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward\, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community\, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. \nWe all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation\, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples\, histories\, cultures\, and futures. \n

DESCRIPTION:Growcom invites you to attend the Focus on Finance regional workshop series being delivered under the Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP). \nThis practical workshop will walk you through the development of your Farm Business Resilience Plan. Participants will also gain a greater understanding of the FBRP and what drought assistance is currently available through the QRIDA. \nOn the day you will hear from a range of guest speakers including chartered accountants and business advisors Bentleys Queensland\, gain an understanding of the Rural Financial Counselling Service\, and the QIRDA grants and loans available. \nBefore attending the event\, Growcom recommends participants register/log in to Growcom’s Hort360 program and complete the FBRP module to the best of your ability. Bring your module with you (print out\, tablet or personal computer) to the workshop along with any questions or concerns you have. Growcom will have tablets available on the day for participants use.
