DESCRIPTION:We all depend on the survival of bees\nBees and other pollinators\, such as butterflies\, bats and hummingbirds\, are increasingly under threat from human activities. \nPollination is\, however\, a fundamental process for the survival of our ecosystems. Nearly 90% of the world’s wild flowering plant species depend\, entirely\, or at least in part\, on animal pollination\, along with more than 75% of the world’s food crops and 35% of global agricultural land. Not only do pollinators contribute directly to food security\, but they are key to conserving biodiversity. \nTo raise awareness of the importance of pollinators\, the threats they face and their contribution to sustainable development\, the UN designated 20 May as World Bee Day. \nThe goal is to strengthen measures aimed at protecting bees and other pollinators\, which would significantly contribute to solving problems related to the global food supply and eliminate hunger in developing countries. \nWe all depend on pollinators and it is\, therefore\, crucial to monitor their decline and halt the loss of biodiversity.

It sometimes combines several other plans that can often stand alone such as a financial plan\, grazing plan\, drought or disaster management plan or even your succession plan. It can also include a list of your assets\, an analysis of your business risks\, your property map and details about the roles and experience of people involved in your enterprise. \n  \nWhy do I need one?\nA written plan is effectively a blueprint that sets out your vision\, your current state and how to plan to reach your goals. It clearly communicates your aims\, in writing\, to your business partners\, successors\, accountants\, both commercial and concessional (government) lenders\, and others. \nIt’s important to get this information out of one’s head and onto a page. \nA business plan can also be used for: \n\nborrowing money to purchase a new property\napplying for the new Queensland Drought Assistance Program\n\n  \nOn the day\nSession 1 – 9 am – 1 pm: \n\nIdentifying risks for your individual enterprise and understand and best practice in Northern grazing systems and your individual enterprise\nStrategizing goals and actions for your individual enterprise\nHow to access the new QRIDA Drought Assistance Package loans and grants\n\nSession 2 – 1:30 pm – 3 pm: \n\nStarting your Farm Business Resilience Plan with extension officer assistance\nTime to discuss any outstanding questions or seek one on one assistance.
